We’ve had so much fun creating this year’s ‘Egg-cel-lent’ Easter Weekend to help you fully enjoy your stay.
Our busy and friendly park atmosphere hosts warm days and clear night skies (perfect for Star Gazing) towards the lead up to this Easter long weekend..
Starting Thursday afternoon one of our Guests is celebrating a Birthday and everyone is welcome to our Park Barbecue, it’s a secret so we will let you know more on this when you check in!
- Friday is Good Friday Public Holiday, a free day for relaxing or leisurely visit our local hotspot attractions. The playground and skate park in town will be open for the kids. You can be sure to enjoy an evening sunset from the comfort of your deck chair or accommodation patio, and be sure to bring your camera as a few clouds at sunset can make for an awesome photo.
- Saturday there will be face painting for the kids at the Easter Saturday mornings markets followed in the afternoon by our traditional park guests golf competition which Tee’s off at 12pm from the Golf Course Club House.
- Sunday morning brunch begins with chocolate pancake breakfast. The kiddies can enjoy the option away from their electronics for a while in the craft room creating an Easter egg nature collage by exploring the park collecting leaves, flowers, feathers, bark – anything they can find. When they return all they need to do is draw the outline of an egg on paper or cardboard and decorate with their treasures. Volunteers are most welcome to lend a hand while Mrs Bunny hops to help with our traditional Golden Egg hunt and fun Eggstravagant and spoon race.
We would love for you to leave your very own special footprint at our doorstep, it’s going to be a great time and where its ok to put all of your eggs in 1 basket, at the Gateway!!!!!!
